Customers authorised by the Riga municipality portal www.eriga.lv can submit electronic invoices for services (supplies) provided to the authorities of the municipality of Riga. In order for legal persons to use this service, it is initially necessary to perform an authorisation on the portal, according to the “Person Authorization by granting the right to use the e-services of the municipality of Riga to the Internet portal www.eriga.lv”. The service results in a rapid, high-quality and environmentally friendly processing of payment request documents between the service provider (supplier) and the municipality of Riga State, ensuring the adoption of electronic invoices.

1. Service requests
The client must remove the means of authorisation of the Riga State-city municipal portal www.eriga.lv in the city of Riga, taking a personal identification document (registration of legal persons may be carried out on the basis of a mandate) or use the possibility offered by www.eriga.lv to authorize through the State Administration Services portal Latvija.lv. Next, the “Invoicing” e-service must be selected in the www.eriga.lv portal of the municipality of Riga.

2. Receipt of services
The client chooses the “Invoicing” e-service on the www.eriga.lv portal of the municipality of Riga. The customer then chooses one of the portal's vendor billing channels and submits the invoice to the municipality of Riga State.
