Residents of Riga state city who have been granted low-income or poor status have the possibility to sterilize their cats and dogs (up to 2 animals) free of charge.
In order to receive this service, the resident shall contact any of the veterinary clinics specified in this description of the service and shall agree on the time during which the veterinary clinic will perform the sterilisation of the animal.

1. Service requests
The customer arrives at one of the veterinary clinics in Riga indicated in this description of the service and applies for the service or applies the service by telephone.
2. Receipt of services
The client arrives at the appointment time at the veterinary clinic and receives the service. Upon arrival with an animal clinic, a personal identification document and a statement issued by the Riga Social Service regarding compliance with the status of a low-income or poor person shall be taken along.
