The Department shall provide advice on the management of residential houses, including:
1. On the determination of rental and management fees for residential spaces.
2. For the provision and payment arrangements of services related to the use of residential spaces.
3. Provides an assessment in case of tenant/owner disputes between the residential house manager and the residential premises concerning the parties' actions
compliance with regulatory enactments.
4. Procedures for the taking of decisions of the community of apartment owners.

1. Service requests
A person shall receive oral advice or submit an application at the Kancelejā of the Department of Housing and Environment. The application may be submitted to the Riga City residents centre.
A person may send an application by post, to an e-mail of the department or receive a telephone consultation.

2. Receipt of services
The person shall receive oral advice at the Kancelejā of the Department of Housing and Environment. The Registry shall send a reply to the address indicated or to the e-mail provided. The Chancery answers by telephone.
