Service channels
The service is required when two or more tenants of local government residential spaces want to make mutual sharing of residential spaces.
After receiving and examining the documents, a recommendation on the exchange of the residential space shall be issued to the client in the event of a favourable decision and, if necessary, an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the commission. In the event of an unfavourable decision, an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the Commission.
The customer shall refer to the operator of the residential house in question with a recommendation on the exchange of the residential area:
SIA “Riga House Manager” or SIA “Rīgas nami” to establish a rental legal relationship.
In case the residential house is not managed by SIA 'Riga House Manager' or SIA 'Rīgas nami', the rental legal relationship with the customer is established by the Riga City Council Housing and Environment Department.
The person shall submit the submission and documents personally to the Kancelejā of the Housing and Environment Department of the Riga City Council.
The receipt of the service shall be subject to an application for the exchange of the residential space and an application regarding the refund of money in case of an unfavourable decision.
2. A service charge
Preparing documents for changing the rented residential space and issuing an extract from the protocol and/or a recommendation to one exchange participant EUR 61,12
(justification: RD 19.03.2013 Decision No 5964).
3. Receipt of services
The person in the Kancelejā shall personally receive a recommendation of the Housing Administration regarding the exchange of residential premises and/or an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the Riga City Council Residential Space Exchange Commission or the Kanceleja shall send the referred to documents by post.
