On the basis of a submission of a natural person, the local government shall provide assistance within 5 working days by renting out the residential space thereof, if the residential space used has died or partly collapsed and is not renewable, and the temporary residential space as needed.

1. Service requests
The person arrives at the Kancelejā of the Housing and Environment Department of the Riga City Council or at the city city of Riga.
Receipt of services documents required:
- the application of the person;
- a rental contract or a document certifying the ownership of the residential property of a person;
- a statement drawn up by the State Fire-fighting and Rescue Service (hereinafter - VUGD) regarding the determination of the fact of a natural disaster or accident (if the State Police participated in the elimination of a natural accident or accident) or a statement drawn up by the State Police regarding the determination of the fact of the accident (if the police participated in the determination of the fact of the accident;
- other documents confirming the actual state of the residential area.
When submitting an application and the required documents must be presented with an ID card

2. Receipt of services
The person arrives at the Kancelejā of the Housing and Environment Department of Riga City Council and receives a reply or the Kanceleja sends a reply by post.
