Determination of the objectives of the use of real estate for the purposes of cadastral valuation (Riga State city municipality)

1. Service requests
A person, his or her legal representative or an authorised person may address in person at the Revenue Board of the Riga City Council by sending an electronically signed submission, sending an application by post to the e-address, or by submitting an application to the portal www.epakalpojumi.lv, using the “Message to the Municipality” service, regarding the determination of the purpose of the use of real estate for the purposes of the cadastral valuation.
Receipt of services documents required:
1) a document certifying property rights, legal possession or land use rights,
2) boundary plan of the unit of land
3) representation of the division of land areas (for example, a rental contract or a graphic annex thereof, land planning project, graphic material of the areas indicated for functional maintenance and management of buildings) by several uses of land or structures, if the unit of land or part of a unit of land has
multiple uses),
4) authorised persons - to provide a statement of authorisation (to produce original or certified copies);
5) the form “Determination of the Purposes for Use of Real Estate”, Annex 8;
6) Annex 9 of the form “Change of the purpose of use of immovable property”.

2. Receipt of services
The service shall be received after consideration of the application and the documents submitted, preparation and signature of the draft decision or letter:
- receive a decision or letter regarding the purposes of the use of immovable property at the request of a person, his or her legal representative or authorised person in the Revenue Board of the Riga City Council;
- to the e-address where the person has a registered official electronic address account;
- e-mail registered in the Real Estate Tax Administration System receives an electronically signed decision or letter regarding the purposes of the use of immovable property;
- receive a decision or letter in the mail regarding the purposes of the use of immovable property.
