Alignment of large-scale and heavy-weight transport routes

1. Service requests
In accordance with the procedures specified in Cabinet regulations, in order to ensure the safety of traffic in the State of Riga,
harmonising large-scale and/or heavy-weight transport routes for authorisation from
VAS “National Roads of Latvia”.
A person, his or her legal representative or an authorised person may address in person in the Transport Department of the Riga City Council by sending an application by post or to the official e-mail address in order to harmonise the large-scale and/or heavy-weight transport route.
Documents necessary for the receipt of the service: an application for the co-ordination of a large-scale and/or heavy-weight transport route.
The application may be written in a free form or use a model developed by the Transport Department which can be downloaded in the link of the home page: http://www.rdsd.lv/pakalpojumi/lielgabarita-and-heavy-weight-marsrutu-cordosana.

2. Receipt of services
The service is received in person, by mail or by e-mail after checking the submitted documents.
